Free swine flu shot clinics

Local health departments are offering free H1N1 vaccines at upcoming public clinics and by appointment. The Summit County Health District has scheduled these clinics for this week: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Village of Richfield Senior Center, 4410 W. Streetsboro Road; 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, 3512 Darrow Road; and 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Norton Community Center, 4060 Columbia Woods Drive.
The Akron Health Department is offering these vaccine clinics this month: 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Interval Brotherhood Home, 3445 S. Main St.; 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at Firestone Park Community Center, 1480 Girard St.; 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 20 at Manchester United Methodist Church, 5625 Manchester Road.
Also, 1 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Northwest Family Recreation Center, 1730 Shatto Ave.; 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at the University of Akron Quaker Station, 135 S. Broadway; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Kenmore Senior Community Center, 880 Kenmore Blvd.; and 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 27 at the Ellet Community Center, 2449 Wedgewood Drive.
